Chris Price has been a Dolphin Skipper for ten years.
He started his seafaring career as an apprentice channel pilot in the Bristol Channel and went on to obtain a masters FG certificate and serve as Chief Officer with the P&O General Cargo Division. On leaving the Merchant Navy he joined the Royal National lifeboat Institution as an Inspector of Lifeboats. He retired from the RNLI after a rewarding and enjoyable 29 years and went from there to the Friends of Dolphin!
Chris enjoys being able to put his maritime experience to good use aboard Dolphin III and to help to provide our passengers with a good day out, in and around Poole Harbour, aboard the boat.
Chris and his wife Nicola live in Wareham where he is the treasurer of the local branch of the RNLI.
