I joined the team in 2018.
I’ve been a keen boater/sailor from a very early age. From dinghy sailing on the Thames, to a non-stop around the UK race in a 72’ Challenge boat. I’ve sailed in most oceans of the World, off SE Asia, the Barrier Reef, the Caribbean, the Mediterranean, The Atlantic off West Africa, and Florida, and believe that being exposed to so many different types of vessels, sea states, and weather has been good all round experience. I hold an RYA Yachtmaster offshore ticket with several endorsements, and RYA Powerboat.
Whilst still new to this position, I cannot help but notice the difference in the humour and overall exuberance of our guests from when they get on the boat, to when they leave. It’s a real pleasure to see how much enjoyment and wellbeing our guest get from just a few hours on the water, experiencing the beauty and seeing the interesting things around the harbour.
Having met and worked with several crews already, I could never have imagined how much camaraderie, team spirit, humour, and dedication there is within the Dolphin family. It has been an uplifting experience!
I regularly sail my Moody 49’ sailboat in the summer in European waters and my Maxum Cabin Cruiser in the winter months in the warmer seas in the Gulf of Mexico off Florida.
I was born in Lancashire but spent my childhood in Surrey. We have owned an apartment here since 2002, but finally moved here permanently in 2013. Having worked and travelled extensively around the world I cannot think of a better place to finally drop anchor!
